This one is for the coffee lovers!  We won't keep you waiting: here are nine of the must-visit coffee spots on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

It’s no secret, the Fleurieu is well known for its rolling hills, beautiful coastlines, and boutique wineries but it also has some funky cafes with absolutely delicious coffee that will seriously satisfy your tastebuds. You can almost smell that deep, roasted aroma that you know is going to kick-start your morning.

GOODNESS COFFEE CO, ALDINGA

This rustic coffee roastery and espresso bar is uniquely located in a former blacksmith's workshop in the Old Aldinga township. The coffee beans are roasted, blended, and weighed right on the Fleurieu Peninsula and you can even buy a bag to take home with you! Savour your coffee with one of their pastries such as a puffy croissant or sweet apple tea cake.

DE GROOT COFFEE CO, PORT ELLIOT

This hidden gem might be a little way off the beaten track but it sure is a popular coffee shop for locals and holiday goers. Tucked away in a creative hub in Port Elliot, De Groot Coffee Co. is located at Factory 9, a cluster of pop-up and permanent shops. De Groot Coffee Co. was the first permanent shop at Factory 9 and has been providing single-origin coffee for five years. With three different single-origins to try and beans roasted on-site, you know you’ll be getting a quality cup of joe!

QAHWA ESPRESSO BAR & COFFEE ROASTERS, VICTOR HARBOR

Qahwa is a coastal café on the foreshore at Victor Harbor. The café is a fun space shared with the Fleurieu Beach Volleyball courts, providing players, matches goers, and the public (during non-game days) with food and drinks. It is a family-friendly environment where the kids can play while the parents can enjoy one of Victor Harbor’s finest coffees. Beans are roasted weekly on-site and their popular signature blend coffee has a delicious, full flavour that suits both black and milk coffees.

DAWN PATROL COFFEE ROASTERS, MCLAREN VALE

Started out of a garden shed, Dawn Patrol provides a passion for coffee in spades. Now located in McLaren Vale, this roastery offers a cellar-door approach to coffee. The scenic vineyards are the perfect location to sip away the day. Not only can you grab your usual, but on Sunday there is an in-depth tasting experience and coffee education. The quality of the coffee is exceptional and 100% traceable and so the beans are sourced ethically and sustainably. It truly is a no-guilt cup of happiness!

THE GOLDEN FLEECE CAFE, WILLUNGA

If you are hunting for a cool café with a retro vibe, The Golden Fleece café is the place for you. This locally owned café features local produce with coffee and treats that are sure to tickle your tastebuds. Whether you’ve been to the Willunga markets, are out for a drive, or just feel like getting out and about, it is the perfect stop. You will be pleased that the coffee is strong, the breakfast portions are generous (and affordable) and they have a deliciously naughty cake selection.

BEACHES, PORT ELLIOT

Nestled into Port Elliot's quaint coastal seaside town discover Beaches. A coffee shop and vegetarian cafe just a short stroll from Knights Beach. Here it's all about sharing good coffee and simple food with friends, sourced from local farms and small family growers on the Fleurieu Peninsula. YEO HAUS, PORT ELLIOT

Port Elliot's coffee scene has come a long way in recent years. Far from offering just a single dark-roasted blend, Yeo Haus is no exception. This is expert coffee in breezy surroundings… Not just a coffee hole but a clothing brand, beer garden, surf movie cinema, and eclectic event space: you'll have to add this location to your list. What's even better is you'll often see Winifred Willis, the resident British bulldog, and Yeo Haus mascot, napping under the window on her retro couch.

MOTHERDUCK, GOOLWA

If you're in the historic town of Goolwa this holiday season and find yourself craving a delicious caffeine hit, follow the duck steps along the main street and arrive at the town's most loved coffee shop. More than a café, Motherduck is part of the town's history, a family's dream come true and a local's favourite spot to enjoy fresh produce made with love. The 105-year-old building has been cleverly reinvented, creating a chilled yet upmarket atmosphere with touches of timber, charcoal tones, and earthy heavy crockery to create a pleasant dining atmosphere and a lovely space for regulars to catch up.
